WINASA Ceramica India Office Project
A Complete Workspace Solution from China to India
About WINASA Ceramica
WINASA Ceramica is a leading manufacturer and exporter of porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles, and sanitaryware based in Morbi, Gujarat, India—one of the world’s major ceramic manufacturing hubs.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, WINASA Ceramica serves customers across Asia, the Middle East, Western Europe, and other international markets. As a globally oriented business, its new headquarters office needed to be more than a functional workplace. It also needed to reflect the company’s brand image and provide a professional environment for international customers, business partners, and employees.
To meet these requirements, FENLERN provided a complete workspace solution covering space planning, customized office furniture, soft furnishings, manufacturing, quality control, international logistics, and on-site installation in India.
Project Scope
The project covered multiple functional areas within WINASA Ceramica’s headquarters, including:
- Reception area
- Client meeting and discussion area
- Open-plan office
- Conference room
- Executive office
- Integrated work and lounge area
- Puja area
The objective was to create a modern corporate office that combines professional business functionality, visual identity, employee comfort, and respect for local culture.
From Brand Identity to a Functional Corporate Workspace
For an international ceramic manufacturer, the headquarters office is an important part of its corporate image. The design therefore needed to balance a professional business atmosphere with a modern and welcoming character.
At the same time, different activities—including client reception, daily office work, executive meetings, collaboration, employee breaks, and cultural practices—needed to coexist within the same workplace.
FENLERN approached the project as a complete workspace rather than simply a furniture supply project, coordinating furniture, materials, spatial functions, visual details, and overseas delivery as one integrated process.
Reception Area — The First Impression of the Brand
The reception area serves as the first point of contact for customers and business partners.
A clean white reception counter works together with the WINASA Ceramica brand identity, while the three-dimensional W-shaped logo creates a strong visual focal point. Wood finishes, a flowing pendant light, and decorative artwork add warmth and depth to the space without compromising its professional character.
The result is a reception environment that feels clean, modern, and confident—an appropriate introduction to an internationally focused ceramic brand.
Client Lounge — Professional Business Reception with a Welcoming Atmosphere
The client discussion area combines business functionality with a more relaxed atmosphere.
Deep green leather sofas are paired with a curved illuminated wood feature wall incorporating a world map. Greenery and carefully selected decorative elements soften the space and create a comfortable environment for business conversations.
The design provides enough formality for client meetings while maintaining a sense of warmth and hospitality.
Open Office Area — Designed for Efficiency and Collaboration
The open-plan office is designed around efficient daily work and team collaboration.
Linear grey workstations create an organized workstation layout, while orange desk screens introduce visual separation and a subtle accent. Ergonomic office chairs support employees during extended working hours, while greenery and collaboration whiteboards add energy and flexibility to the workspace.
The combination of functional workstation planning, ergonomic office furniture, and collaborative elements creates a practical environment for a growing international business.
Conference Room — A Professional Space for Meetings and Collaboration
The conference room is designed to support both internal meetings and external business discussions.
A curved conference table is paired with ergonomic conference chairs to create a comfortable meeting environment. The large display screen supports presentations and communication, while motivational wall graphics introduce a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
The overall design maintains a professional corporate appearance while providing the flexibility required for everyday meetings, team discussions, and client presentations.
Executive Office — Sophisticated, Functional, and Personal
The executive office uses darker wood tones and premium-looking materials to establish a more distinguished atmosphere.
A large executive desk and leather office chair form the central working area. Behind the desk, a marble-effect feature wall and integrated lighting enhance the visual depth of the room.
Glass display cabinets, decorative sculptures, and carefully selected accessories introduce a personal and refined character while maintaining a professional executive-office aesthetic.
The result is a balanced environment that combines executive functionality with a strong sense of quality and personal style.
Integrated Work & Lounge Area — Balancing Productivity and Relaxation
The project also incorporates a flexible area where work, informal meetings, and relaxation can take place within the same environment.
An L-shaped sofa, coffee table, and wall-mounted television create a comfortable setting for informal discussions, short breaks, and client interaction.
Rather than separating every activity into independent rooms, the space provides a more flexible workplace environment where employees can move naturally between focused work, communication, and relaxation.
Puja Area — Respecting Local Culture Through Workplace Design
One of the important details of this India office project was the inclusion of a dedicated Puja area.
Understanding the importance of cultural considerations in Indian workplaces, FENLERN incorporated a dedicated space within the office rather than treating cultural requirements as an afterthought.
An arched wall niche, warm-toned finishes, and simple built-in cabinetry create a quiet and respectful setting. The design integrates traditional cultural needs into the contemporary office environment while maintaining visual harmony with the rest of the workplace.
This attention to local requirements demonstrates that successful international office projects are not only about furniture and aesthetics—they also require an understanding of the client’s working culture and business environment.
From Chinese Manufacturing to On-Site Delivery in India
For an overseas office furniture project, design is only one part of successful delivery. Manufacturing quality, logistics coordination, installation, and communication are equally important.
For the WINASA Ceramica project, FENLERN coordinated the complete process from the manufacturing stage in China to the final installation in India.
Space Planning & Furniture Customization
Based on the client’s functional requirements and workplace layout, furniture configurations and material selections were coordinated to suit different areas of the office.
Manufacturing & Quality Control
Customized office furniture was manufactured at FENLERN’s own production facilities, with quality control carried out throughout the manufacturing process.
International Logistics
After production and inspection, the furniture was prepared for international transportation from China to India, with packaging and shipment coordination handled according to the project requirements.
On-Site Installation
After arrival in India, the furniture was installed on site to ensure that the final configuration matched the approved design and project requirements.
This integrated delivery model reduces the need for clients to coordinate multiple independent suppliers and creates a clearer line of responsibility throughout the project.
Building Better Workspaces Across Borders
From the first design concept to the final installation, FENLERN focuses on delivering practical, coordinated, and high-quality workspace solutions for international clients.
The successful completion of the WINASA Ceramica headquarters project in India adds another international reference to our project portfolio and demonstrates our ability to support overseas office projects from manufacturing in China through to on-site delivery.
